This tour will allow you to explore and discover some of Bahrain’s most precious cultural jewels from modern times to ancient age from Dilmun Civilization, thanks to a visit that begins with the coach journey to the first stop: Al Fateh grand Mosque for photo stop & quick explore for 15 minutes outside & inside (For ladies clean Abaya & hair cover available for free) and brief of some information about Islam & Abrahamic religions, it’s open in 1988, capable of holding over 7,000 faithful. This impressive building, constructed in a variety of Middle Eastern architectural styles, boasts the largest fiberglass dome in the world.
The last stop before returning to the ship consists of a visit to the Bahrain National Museum, open in 1988, with a rich collection of Bahrain’s ancient archaeological artifacts is on display. The museum covers 6,000 years of Bahrain’s history, it’s the registry for Bahrain & area for 6000 years. you will visit the 6 exhibition halls, which Dilmun graves, Dilmun Civilization, Hiratage & Culture, Handcrafts, Tylos & Islamic & The new Bahrain it’s one of the amazing richest museums in the regin.Â

On the way to Bahrain National Museum, between the beautiful modern skyline of Manama the capital of Bahrain, we will stop to take a nice photos.
After the fort we will visit Bab Al Bahrain & Manama Souq (local market) to enjoy shoping, spices, jellowers, gold, pearls, Bahraini sweet, handmade souvenirs & enjoying a traditional lunch in one of the local restaurant as optional.
Dilmun burial mound older than 2800 BC related to old Dilmun city surround the Bahrain Fortress (Qalat Al Bahrain), they are both a UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The excavations, which began during the 1950s, highlighted distinct layers belonging to different historical eras dating back to around 2300 BC.Â
The King Fahd Causeway spans long stretches of sea and reclaimed land.
The idea of building a bridge linking Bahrain to the eastern region of Saudi Arabia had been of great interest to the two kingdoms for generations. The project to build the bridge began during an official visit to Bahrain in 1954 by King Saud; his wish was to nurture and further solidify the bonds between the two countries.
Following Bahrain’s declaration of independence, Prince Fahd bin Abdulaziz, then interior minister of Saudi Arabia, led a high-level delegation to Bahrain. At the close of the visit, Fahd said that Saudi Arabia was seriously interested in constructing a land bridge that would connect the two countries.
The project cost a total of US$800 million (SAR3 billion). Al-Muhandis Nizar Kurdi Consulting Engineers was the sole Saudi partner of the consulting group (Saudi Danish Consultants) which completed the study, design and construction supervision of the causeway. One of the major contractors of the project was Ballast Nedam, based in the Netherlands. It is unclear how many workers were engaged in the construction of the causeway. The four-lane road is 25 km (16 mi) long and its two roadways are 11.6 m (38 ft) wide. It was built using 350,000 m3 (12,000,000 cu ft) of concrete along with 147,000 metric tonnes of reinforced steel.
Next, you will travel to Bahrain desert between many oil & gas wells it’s as oil farmback in time to to take photo with the first oil well in gulf discovered in 1932, it is the way for tree of life, the lonely oldest tree in Bahrain and the area with age of 400 years, It’s on a hill in a barren area of the Arabian Desert, under this hill one of old villages, taking the way back to Dilmun burial mound.
Have your camera ready to pose with the camels as they are very friendly. In olden days the camels were the mode of transport in the region to go from one place to another. Camels are the desert ships used to carry the load on their back to the market place along the desert.
Final Stop, is Bahrain International Circuit, the state-of-the-art circuit, which cost approximately USD 150 million to built during 16 months only, open in 2004, has unique characteristics, making it one of the best Formula 1 circuits in the world. You will visit both of the grandstand & where you can take a nice photos with the F1 VIP Tower & main raceway than visit the Formula 1  showroom to buy your best F1 souvenirs.Â
