This tour will allow you to explore and discover some of Bahrain’s most precious cultural jewels from modern times to ancient age from Dilmun Civilization, thanks to a visit that begins with the coach journey to the first stop: Al Fateh grand Mosque for photo stop & quick explore for 15 minutes outside & inside (For ladies clean Abaya & hair cover available for free) and brief of some information about Islam & Abrahamic religions, it’s open in 1988, capable of holding over 7,000 faithful. This impressive building, constructed in a variety of Middle Eastern architectural styles, boasts the largest fiberglass dome in the world.
Have your camera ready to pose with the camels as they are very friendly. In olden days the camels were the mode of transport in the region to go from one place to another. Camels are the desert ships used to carry the load on their back to the market place along the desert.
Next is Bahrain International Circuit, the state-of-the-art circuit, which cost approximately USD 150 million to built during 16 months only, open in 2004, has unique characteristics, making it one of the best Formula 1 circuits in the world. You will visit both of the grandstand & where you can take a nice photos with the F1 VIP Tower & main raceway than visit the Formula 1  showroom to buy your best F1 souvenirs.Â
Next, you will travel to Bahrain desert between many oil & gas wells it’s as oil farmback in time to to take photo with the first oil well in gulf discovered in 1932, it is the way for tree of life, the lonely oldest tree in Bahrain and the area with age of 400 years, It’s on a hill in a barren area of the Arabian Desert, under this hill one of old villages, taking the way back to Dilmun burial mound.
Dilmun burial mound older than 2800 BC related to old Dilmun city surround the Bahrain Fortress (Qalat Al Bahrain), they are both a UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The excavations, which began during the 1950s, highlighted distinct layers belonging to different historical eras dating back to around 2300 BC.Â
After the fort we will visit Bab Al Bahrain & Manama Souq (local market) to enjoy shoping, spices, jellowers, gold, pearls, Bahraini sweet, handmade souvenirs & enjoying a traditional lunch in one of the local restaurant as optional.
On the way to Bahrain National Museum, between the beautiful modern skyline of Manama the capital of Bahrain, we will stop to take a nice photos.
The last stop before returning to the ship consists of a visit to the Bahrain National Museum, open in 1988, with a rich collection of Bahrain’s ancient archaeological artifacts is on display. The museum covers 6,000 years of Bahrain’s history, it’s the registry for Bahrain & area for 6000 years. you will visit the 6 exhibition halls, which Dilmun graves, Dilmun Civilization, Hiratage & Culture, Handcrafts, Tylos & Islamic & The new Bahrain it’s one of the amazing richest museums in the regin.Â
